Individual Sessions

The first step is to arrange an initial session. During this session, we would start to explore what you would like from therapy and decide if working together would be of benefit.

Sometimes clients go away to think this over in their own time.

If we decide to work together, some sessions, usually six, are arranged in advance. These are usually at weekly  intervals.

We would also book a review session, to reflect on how the work is going.  This is the time when our contract to work together can be re-negotiated and/or extended.

When it is time to end our work together, it is important to talk about this in advance and arrange one or more ending sessions. This is so that our work together can be completed.

Couple Sessions

These are similar to those for individuals, though the boundaries will be slightly different for contact outside the session when working with two or more people
